That's right! This new and improved website is no longer an early access beta version. We have gone to full production, and in doing so we bid farewell to the old website which has been serving me well for 3 years. But it was time for a change, and what a change it is.
Coming with this change is a complete overhaul of everything. Absolutely every page, system, and process is different. That's a lot of different stuff, and im only one person running all this new and improved stuff. That means that things wont work quite right all the time. There will be bugs, glitches, and weird fringe cases. If you encounter one of these, please report it in the bug tracking blog post.
You will notice with this new website, a lot of things are consolidated and lots of stuff is gone. This is part of an effort to consolidate my business and focus my efforts into key areas. part of this includes removing some bodies of work, including my street photography, vehicle photography, and 3D modeling. I am also focusing my Social Media around my Instagram pages. Posts will still go to Facebook, and occasional updates will be made on Twitter, but Flicker, Behance, and Sketchfab are all going away. This may not be a permanent decision, but it is an indefinite hiatus, so sorry if you really loved those platforms, I just cant keep them going economically at this time.
Launching with this website is an online store. While the infrastructure for this is still a long way from being finished, my intentions are still to sell works as prints. What are my plans for the future?
In the immediate future there will be continued changes and updates to my website to smooth out any pain points in the design and make and necessary fixes.
I also plan to post updates on this blog more frequently. Its a good way of updating people without the haste of a tiny wordcount on twitter. Perhaps I'll start a mailing list if anyone is interested.
