WPP just officially launched their new production studio, 'Devon's Point', a start to finish production house focusing on AI enhanced, human made production, going from pre prod to prod to post prod all under one roof.

What the public doesn’t know is that It has been semi operational long before this announcement, and I had the privilege of being brought on to the team as a contractor for a month to help with the day to day operations, and to help facilitate shoots as an assistant.

During my time at Devon's Point, I met many talented and friendly people, helped bring multiple shoots to life, and learnt a lot about what the future of production and the creative industries holds, especially in an world of AI (of which I am a known sceptic) and that future looks bright.

I had the opportunity to help directly with many shoots for the likes of Boots, Soap and Glory, No7, Liz Earl, and more, and I also was put in the unique position to provide support for other shoots, such as the new Google Pixel Launch, and productions for the F1 headquarters. (Thanks to Google for buying me dinner!)

While I was only at WPP for a short time, I am extremely proud of what I accomplished their, and for the part I played in helping the full time team there get Devon's Point ready for its full launch. Wishing the team all the best for the coming future.

P.S.

Please enjoy this photo of me eating a banana while doing light tests on set for Soap and Glory in a campaign launching next year.
